Light and compact frequency converter for dynamic drives

The new Mitsubishi Electric FR-E800 frequency converter is designed primarily for industrial applications where drive dynamics and motor performance are a priority. The frequency converter is suitable for controlling both short-rotor and permanent magnet motors, features a very powerful new generation processor and provides maximum motor torque even at low speeds.

Ultra compact

Mitsubishi Electric frequency converters have always been smaller. The new FR-E800 frequency converter is compact, even among Mitsubishi converters, making it even more attractive to the machine builder.

Powerful vector control for induction and PM motor control

The FR-E800 frequency converters are designed to control very fast and abrupt drives, with a start/stop time of only a few seconds. The high-speed CPU ensures motor control even in the most critical situations.

Full control of the engine

The FR-E800 frequency converter allows the motor to be controlled by both speed and torque. Perfectly accurate speed control is achieved by encoder feedback.

The Mitsubishi FR-E800 frequency converter has been developed with the future in mind and comes with extensive data communication functionality: the FR-E800-EPx and FR-E800-SCEPx models already have a built-in 2 TCP interface supporting various protocols.

Mitsubishi FR-E800 frequency converter - built-in PLC

The Mitsubishi FR-E800 frequency converter has a built-in PLC that can be conveniently programmed using the FR-Configurator software. Programming is done in the user-friendly Ladder language, allowing easy access to the frequency converter parameters and input and output signals. The built-in controller allows, for example, to create different time-based speed curves, to implement more complex logic to activate signals or to control external devices according to the state of the frequency converter.
